I love giving gifts. The whole process of searching and finding the perfect gift—one that says, “I know you, I see you, and I love you”—brings me joy. But finding those gifts can be a challenge.

That’s why I agreed to do a review of The Commandment Co, a Christian gift shop based in Singapore. Here’s how they explain the vision behind the company.

“As much as we are inspired by stories of love, faith and hope, typography and photography, we want to be that inspiration and encouragement to someone who is struggling, in need or just feeling tired and weary.

Unable to find a suitable inspirational gift for our loved ones, The Commandment Co. was created! We seek to create personalized designs and gifts that encompasses God’s truth and love, in hopes that it has inspired you to share that same love to others. We hope The Commandment Co. sends a meaningful message that speaks to people at different, yet every season of their lives.”

I loved their vision because I often choose cute Christian gifts that I hope encourage and inspire. Below is my honest review of four products, plus a few other products I love on their site.

Good News Sling Bag

As a writer, I love the old school newspaper look of this bag, plus of the wordplay of, “Good News Messenger.” I also appreciate the functionality. The adjustable strap is longer than a normal tote bag and the two small inside pockets keep things like your phone, wallet, and keys from floating around freely in the bag.

The bag itself is on the smaller size. I took it to the library and ended up having to carry half our books (we love books!). But it’s the perfect size for carrying a small binder, a few notebooks, and a book or two.

 Trust in the Lord Pouch

Small zipper pouch with pens

I love items that remind me of God’s truth and encourage me to submit to God’s will. This pouch does just that. All the pouches on their site are cute, but this one has one of my favorite Bible verse on it, Proverbs 3:5. (The full verse is on the backside.)

Currently, I am using it to hold my Bible marking pens and a pocket notebook (see below). It would also be great for travel or to hold smaller items in a book bag.

I like to carry little notebooks around with me to jot down ideas, prayer requests, directions, and any other information I don’t want to forget. This cute little pocket notebook is indeed pocket-sized, making it perfect for tucking into my purse.

Your Grace Is Sufficient For Me Mug

Another item that acts as a reminder of God’s truth is this 10oz enamel mug with a stainless steel rim. I love the idea of sitting down every morning with my coffee and being reminded that God’s grace is sufficient for me. However, my coffee cooled down very quickly and since you can’t put it in the microwave, I probably won’t use it very often. (I’m one of those people who always needs to reheat my coffee at least once.)

My four-year-old daughter loves this mug though! It looks fancy, it’s lightweight and isn’t as breakable as our ceramic mugs. Since tea party with mommy is one of her favorite past times, I still get the reminder of God’s grace.

After receiving these items, I trust that everything from The Commandment Co. is great quality. I encourage you to check them out if you are looking for cute Christian gifts. Especially check out the items above and their Scripture night lights, notebooks, and decorative pillowcases. And don’t forget to use the promo code KIRA10 at checkout.
